The ISO 14001 standard maps out a framework that is used in order to set up an effective environmental management system. ISO 14001 \u2019s main aim is to assist companies to continually improve their environmental performance, whilst complying with any applicable legislation.<\/p>

The FSC facilitates the development of standards, ensures monitoring of certified operations and protects the FSC trademark so consumers can choose products that come from well managed forests.<\/p>

The average funeral arrangement emits 2-3 tones of CO2e. By purchasing carbon credits you can offset these associated emissions by supporting accredited environmental projects that help mitigate the impact of greenhouse gasses. Forest Carbon maintain the projects that are supported by your purchased carbon credits. They lead the way in developing woodland creation and peatland restoration in the UK and have removed over 2,000,000 tonnes of co2 from the atmosphere since 2006. Their schemes are assured by the UK government\u2019s Woodland Carbon Code and the IUCN\u2019s Peatland code.<\/p>
